Order cost refers to the total funds required to place an order. Investors can check the order cost at any time through the order placement or confirmation window. The order cost is influenced by the initial margin, opening fee, and closing fee. Depending on the investor's position direction, i.e., long or short, different formulas will be used for calculation.
Long Position
Order Cost Calculation Formula:
Order Cost = Initial Margin + Buy Fee + Sell Fee
Short Position
Order Cost Calculation Formula:
Order Cost = Initial Margin + Buy Fee + Sell Fee
Initial Margin = Average Entry Price × Position Quantity × Contract Face Value / Leverage
Buy Fee = Order Quantity × Order Price × Fee Rate
Sell Fee = Order Quantity × Bankruptcy Price × Fee Rate
